Coleman's legacy began over 120 years ago when W.C. Coleman invented the first portable, gas-powered lantern. Those lanterns famously lit up the first evening football game west of the Mississippi. In World War II, soldiers carried our camping stoves as they parachuted into Europe.
From there, we've been trailblazers in revolutionizing outdoor experiences. In the 1950s, our cooler manufacturing set new standards. Over the decades, we've expanded to provide tents, sleeping bags, lighting, and an array of outdoor gear, constantly evolving to enhance your adventures.
