Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE): This material can absorb sunlight more efficiently at different angles. Other solar panels use PET which reflects away some light, causing the solar panel’s output to be reduced. Although this material is much more expensive than the PET, its worth it, as ETFE coated panels are dirt, dust and chemical resistant, much more durable, promising a longer product lifespan.
